Native Work’s goal is to let people know about News and
Special Events happening in the Native American Community throughout New
England. We hope this information will serve our Community for the greater
understanding of our Culture, and be a focal point towards sharing information,
either big or small, in today’s busy world.
Every month Native Works will feature news about what’s happening on the Native
scene here in New England. We will have Guest Speakers, Musicians, and Artists
along with interviews with people telling their story about what they are doing
in our Community. If you would like to tell your story, or know of someone who
would, please feel free to contact us.
Look to us for an updated list of Powwows and Events. To add an event just let
us know and we’ll make sure to get the news out. Vendors or Artists, please
contact us if you are interested in advertising or sponsorship. We’ll also be
reporting from various gatherings across New England.
Your host’s for this Podcast will be Jim Adams. Jim is of Cherokee, Penobscot
and Lakota descent, and resides in Connecticut.
Your co-host is Donna Roux-Valliere, around here we call her Raven! Born and
raised in California, she is of Mexican and Apache descent, and also
resides in Connecticut.
You can find “Native Works” on our Face Book page at – www.facebook.com/native.works
or follow the link to the podcast at www.cedarsongflutes.com/podcast

We sincerely hope you’ll spend some time with us, and we look forward to
bringing you all the Native Works!
Much Peace,
Jim & Raven
