Cedars Thunder Drums are hand crafted
from select Eastern Red Cedar which we harvest and mill in our workshop.
Each
piece of wood is selected for
Spirit, color and
strength.
Buffalo, Elk, and Deer raw hide is used to cover these drums. Due to the thickness of the Buffalo hide it is only used on drums 18 inches and over. Elk hide can be used on the smallest to the largest Drums. Deer hide is used only on drums 18 inches or less.
