Cedar Bead Chokers

Cherokee Legend tells of the Cedar Tree being Sacred for many reasons.  One use was the placing of Cedar over the entrance to the home or of wearing or carrying a piece of Cedar in your Medicine Pouch. This was done to prevent and ward off bad spirits and only allow the entry of good.
